Smoking ban has passed.
The Tyler City Council unanimously passed the prosed smoking ban yesterday. The law takes affect June 1st, and all public places including bars and restaurants will be smoke free. Smokers must be 20 feet away from the front or back door and smoking patios must be open air, with no roof, and still be past the 20 foot threshold.
Smokers complain that the ban will hurt businesses that they frequented because they were allowed to smoke. How will the ban affect you and your family?

Since the entire city will be banned what businesses will they go to instead? This type of ban has worked everywhere it has been implemented and has not hurt any businesses, including clubs.
